Pollution Helps Birds Sing Better

Of course, it eventually helps kill them too, but who needs to get into details? Pollutants basically cause the "song" part of a birds brain to increase in size, hence allowing males to create and sing more complex songs to impress the ladies. This means that birds may actually start to move into polluted areas.
