1. Theres been no evidence that George Mallory (who was the man by the way) and Sandy Irvine made it to the top of Everest but they may have made it within 2000 feet of the summit. It's not know whether or not they made it over the second step which is on of the most difficult parts of the climb.
They also went missing a decade earlier than Mason claims, on June 8, 1924, last seen alive at 12:50 p.m. by Noel Odell. Find the camera Sandy Irvine was carrying with pics from the summit and I'll give them credit, I'd love to trust me. Strike One.

2. I said that the current success rate for Everest is about %39, (thats for all climbers including guides, Sherpas and other Himalayans going up). Thats strike two.

3. The official height of Everest is 29,035ft until someone changes it and proves otherwise. I don't really care what the Chinese think, they can't cite a new height and neither can Mason. I'll call this a ball since it's always changing height.

4. The one chart does claim 208 fatalities, which is the same source that wrote the article I cited where there were 207 deaths. I'm not sure why, unless it's just because they haven't confirmed the most recent May 17th disappearance (the 208th). I'll give this one to him just to keep his self esteem up.

5. Mason's stat of 2972 successful summits is also correct.... if you don't count anyone that climbed in 2007. Nice try though. Strike Three.
